This is the Privacy Notice of updatedge application and updatedge portal software ("App"). This Privacy Notice provides information on the processing of personal data of the users of the App and updatedge portal ("Users" or "you") by updatedge Limited, the owner of the updatedge mobile App and portal.updatedge.com based at 86-90 Paul Street, London, United Kingdom, EC2A 4NE ("Company" or "we").
This Privacy Notice may be changed over time. Users of the App or portal are advised to regularly review the Privacy Notice in their settings tab for possible changes.

1 When is this Privacy Notice applicable?
This Privacy Notice is applicable to the processing of all personal data of Users collected through the App by the Company.
2 How do we secure the data?
Your personal data is treated strictly confidential and the Company has taken the appropriate technical and organizational security measures against loss or unlawful processing of this data. For this purpose, the Company uses several security techniques including secure servers, firewalls and encryption, as well as physical safeguard of the locations where data is stored.
3 Who is the controller of your data?
The Company is the controller for the processing of your personal data. The Company has notified the Information Commissioner's Office ("ICO") of its processing of personal data. The notification indicates what data is processed by the Company and for what purpose, and to which persons or entities the data will be provided. 4 For what purpose do we process your personal data?
(1) To assist Users with updating 3rd parties, agencies, agency contacts and any other contacts concurrently with their availability.
What does this purpose entail?
We will facilitate this by providing your data and general availability to your contacts including employment agencies and hirers that you have selected as contacts who may request your temporary employment (as applicable). Employment agencies you are already contracted with and are included by you as agency contacts will share your up-to-date availability with potential hirers ("Services").
Which personal data do we process for this purpose?
For this purpose, we process your name, your e-mail address, your image, your postcode, your location, your skills, your preferences and other information provided to us by you during the registration and subsequent information gathering process.
For what period do we retain your personal data?
We retain your personal data for as long as you wish the Company to provide the Services on your behalf. In case you wish the Company to cease providing the Services on your behalf, you can update your settings accordingly and remove the application.
(2) For the technical and functional management of the App.
When you use our App, our administrators process technical data linked to the use of the App to enable us to deliver the functionalities of the App. With this technical data, our administrators can manage the App, for instance by resolving technical difficulties or improving the accessibility of certain parts of the App. This way, we ensure that you can (continue to) find the information on the App in a quick and simple manner.
Which personal data do we process for this purpose?
For this purpose, we process technical data such as the IP address of internet connection used to connect to the App and the duration of and navigation within sessions.
For what period do we retain your personal data for this purpose?
We retain technical data for a maximum period of 5 years after the account has been deleted by you for this purpose.
5 Who has access to your data?
The Company may use third parties for certain processing purposes. To the extent that these third parties have access to personal data in order to execute these processing purposes, the Company has taken the required organizational and contractual measures to ensure that your personal data is exclusively processed for the purposes mentioned above.

6 How to treat links to other websites and social media?
On the App, you may find links to other websites. Although these websites are selected with care, we are not responsible for the processing of your personal data through these websites.
If you choose to share our App through social media such as LinkedIn, Facebook and/or Twitter, your personal data (such as your name and the fact that you are interested in the Company) will also be visible to all the visitors of your personal webpage on LinkedIn, Facebook and/or Twitter. When using such social media websites only the terms and conditions (including the privacy policy) of the social media website apply. The Company is not responsible for the processing of personal data or the privacy policy of such social media websites. The Company's End User Licence Agreement found under Settings and this Privacy Notice are therefore not applicable to the use of such websites.
7 Who to address regarding questions and requests of access, removal etc.
You can request access of the data that the Company processes about you at any time, and have these corrected or removed by sending a request by email to: datacollected@updatedge.com
The Company can charge a $20 (US Dollars) reimbursement fee.
